Alphabet Sudoku is a variant that uses the letters A through I instead of the digits 1 through 9. Every row, column, and 3×3 box must contain each of the nine letters exactly once. All standard Sudoku logic applies — only the symbols are different.
Je Alphabet Sudoku těžší než regulární Sudoku? ▾
Not mathematically — the logic is identical. However, many players find letter-based puzzles slightly harder to scan visually because letters are less distinguishable at a glance than digits. What techniques work in Alphabet Sudoku? ▾

Easy puzzles take 5–15 minutes. Medium puzzles run 15–30 minutes. Hard puzzles average 30–60 minutes and expert puzzles can take 60–90 minutes. Solve times are very similar to classic Sudoku at equivalent difficulty levels.
